Project Day！

July 15 cloudy and raining
Today we got another free day but It's not easy for me because we had a lot of jobs about project to do.But I was so excited to this day because I can finish my project by our group then I'd be sure it's will be my proud.
On the morning we went to the place where we had found before but the weather today is cloudy,all of us were scared about it would rain heavily.
As our exception the weather turned into worth and worth and the rain had been falling down very fast.In this reason, I got wed and our group had not finished our project.
Tonight I was very tired and wed so that I could not finished our project.Our group would work harder afternoon.

First Day for project

July 14 Sun

Finally the typhoon already passed and the weather had turned into nice,and power has been reconnected so the expected lecture had finally been started on today morning.

The topic of this lecture was Soil Biodiversity.

I had the class in China named soil.As result,I learned about a little knowledge about soil.But on this class I weeded my eyes and improved myself.

Then we explored Sitou forest and we went to the sky walk and we saw a lot of Chinese cedars and Japanese cedars,all of them is too high to see the top of tree.

After lunch and break, our group took a very long time to talk about the project topic and in the end we decided two topic from many others.

Tonight our group had a very good presentation,however we have a long way to go tomorrow and after tomorrow.

Free day again!!

Because of Typhoon，today is an unexpected free day but because of typhoon too there's no power and internet in our dorm.So every coin has two sides.Because of typhoon I ate the noodles first time on those day and I play bridge first time on those day because of typhoon our group had another day to talk our project but it spend a lot of time and didn't reach the consensus.

Therefor today was an amazing day and the first time I experienced typhoon in Taiwan and out of power in Taiwan and playing poker in Taiwan.

tea and bamboo

July 12 Sun
Today we went to the Phoenix Tea Plantation for visiting tea trees and making of tea which is the first time I saw those interesting trees and tea-making process.Through it's not the right season to see tea but I also feel the charming smelling of tea,because tea is  my father favorite drinking so influence by him,I like drinking tea very much.
After visiting,we drunk many different kinds of teas besides oolong tea，black tea and oriental beauty.Every kind is my favorite.
After lunch we headed to Bamboola Taiwan for visiting and I saw a lot of amazing bamboo boxes all of them are handmade-boxes,anyway everyone is hard to open.
Tonight I experienced the typhoon of Taiwan the first time I melt.as result the video introducing Sitou had been canceled.

wild animal and tea

July 11 Sun
Today we headed to Endemic Specimen Research Institute to learned about wild animal of Taiwan besides bird,Eagle and owl and so on.First time when I saw the bird specimen，I was afraid of those things.Until I knew those were made by dead animals,the complex emotion was full of my body.And then we went to the animal hospital where injured animal would be send for treatment.
On the afternoon it was the first maybe the last time I touched the real bat!So excited and until now I can't believe I got so close with the alive bat.then we headed to Conservation Education Center for visiting more specimen of snake,whale，many bird and monkey and so on.
Tonight we visited Mingsin Academy and Temple Remains which is very meaningful.
On this evening I heard about a very wonderful lecture about tea and tea-making.Because my father love drinking tea very much,I drunk many kinds of tea.Through this lecture I leaned a lot of knowledge about tea the principle of tasting .

handmade wooden box！

July 10 Sun

What we did today is tired but very interesting!As I know Taiwan is a important wooden stuff production.And the most famous Taiwan is the red cypress wood because of the special smelling.

Today we did a wooden box by ourselves.Although when I saw the end product I had thought it's very easy to do this,but I was wrong.The box seemingly easy to make but also needs a lot of steps and the patient is necessary in every step.

Until I finished the handmade box my hands were so painful that I can't move.In the end seeing the box which I made I felt very proud about what I did today.

On the afternoon we visited the wood factory which is my first time to see how to cut the wood and change them into wooden stuff,it's very amazing.

Tonight we learned about the "How stuff wood"which is a wonderful video about the using and future of  wood.

July 09

Today,we have a introduction. of Saideke tribe which is the original people.In China I had heard about original people of Taiwan and I know the singer 张震岳 is the aboriginal. After introduction we experienced the hunting traps it's very interesting and amazing.
Then,we made Manto--Chinese dessert.Our group made a very delicious manto.
After lunch,we headed to Chuenyang Sun-farm for picking tomatoes.Although I just picked two tomatoes but It's tasted very wonderful.And I had known about a lot of flowers and plants.
Tonight we played Rubin lock which is the first time for me to play it and I love it very much.
