Hiking Hehuashan

On July 07 we went to Hehuanshan for hiking.before going to Taiwan I have climbed Yellow Mountain and Laoshan mountain in Qingdao.But I through it must be very different experience.
As I know, it's very different between the plants in high level and that on the plain.I was so excited to seeing those unique plants.With Dr Chung we were hiking to Hehuanshan.
The most commend flower in this mountain is 龙胆 which is adjust to the environment of high level and I saw many different color of this species.
By the way I had not hiking about 1 year and My Physical strength is not enough for me to climb two mountain,but I reached both hilltop.Maybe it's tired but it's much much worth for this.
Tonight we watched the introduction of the base of NTU，and the bird introduction of Hehuanshan.

On July 06 we heeded to Lyuchui Tail and went to Meifeng Farm for the second part of the summer program.
The most time of this day is on the bus,we spent almost 6 hours on driving.But it was worth to see the beautiful views of the mountain.
On the morning we went to Lyuchui Tail and explored the Water Curtain Cave.anyway my whole body was wet but I was very happy to feel the cool spring.
On the afternoon at one stop named Bilu Scared Tree.I saw a huge Chinese fir about 90m tall It's very amazing to see so big tree it is.
As I know Chinese fir is the most important economic tree in the south of China.
By the way I also learned about the unique tree of Taiwan：昆布树,which is old species and beautiful.
It was my first time to live in the 2700 Elevation mountain.the temperature is very cool and comfortable.I like this place.

July 05 tired day

Today we went to Taroko National Park to watch Swallow Grotto Trail and Nine Turns Trail.I saw a lot of interesting and unique rocks there which I had never seen before.But what I interested most is the plants in the Taroko National Park,and I fellow professor Chung to identify the special plants in Taiwan so that I learned a lot of  different plants I don't know or which is totally different sharp to what in China.
Today the most important what I gained was seeing a wild"构树“n Taiwan which is very rare.

Ocean and ocean!

I am a man who come from the middle of China ,so it's why I am so exciting to see the Pacific Ocean.It's the most beautiful ocean that I've never seen.I so deeply fall in love with this place and this ocean.
When we walked along the mountain by bus with looking out of window.The view outside is so beautiful that I can't stop staring at.
Then we went to beach which is different from others.it's covered not sand but small rocks,so it's a special experience walking and standing on.
By the way,today we also went to the orchid planting base in other words I saw many kinds of orchid I've never seen before.And it's a wonderful lunch for me.

JiuFen and ShiFen!

Today we went to another place that I expect most to go.A pop singer QiZhen Chen have singed a song named "九份的咖啡店"that is the reason why I want to go there.
As it said It do not make me despaired that it's too amazing and beautiful!In the top of the street all of the beautiful views is went into my view and I can't stop watching those wonderful landscape.

And then we went to  Shifen for staying and first time I know ShiFen is where the movie "那些年"shooting I said a lot of familiar view such as rail and sky light.Tonight we fly a sky night with blessing words.

Blue Dye and Dharma Drum Mountain and Juming Museum

On July 02 we went to Jingshan for blue dyeing which was my first time to see how to make a white clothing into beautiful blue painting.It's amazing and interesting.And I made the first blue dyeing clothing in my life maybe it's not beautiful but more meaningful.
And then our next stop is Dharma Drum Mountain which is the most famous Buddhism place in Taiwan.What I feel is quiet totally quiet!
And another thing which attracted me so much is the Asparagus soup.this one is the most delicious soup I've ever eaten！！Simple stuff and well tasty.
In that afternoon we went to Juming Museum there are a lot of interesting sculptures,most of those are about the soldiers topic.
Tomorrow we will go outside for visiting I'm expecting that so much

Yeliu Geology Park and making dumpling

Taiwan have a lot of special landscape.On July 1st we went to Yeliu Geology Park to have a look.
Mushroom Rock:There formation are said to resemble mushroom.The cap of the mushroom is rich in calcium carbonate,and this make it more resistant to weathering than the surrounding rock.And one of the famous rocks is Queen's Head.
Candle Rock：Candle rocks are landscape features that are renowned for their unique appearance and they are only found at Yeliu. The candle rock is round in shape with a wick on top.When I first saw those rocks I was amazed at those rocks!So unique it is!
Other landscape evolution is about Monocline Structure and Ginger Rock which are unique too.
that night we made dumplings I have made it before but Taiwan's dumpling making is different from that in China so I must learned again. the first group I made is so ugly that I don't want to eat but I tried making dumplings again.In the end after I do all my best,those dumplings look better.
